40 yr old female with BMI 25 came to my office due to numbness in her hands and fingers on and off for about 3 years. According to her medical doctors it is due to carpal tunnel syndrome. Patient didn't want to get an operation but try some acupuncture first.
Right hand is worse than her left. Thumb, index finger and pinky are affected (constantly numb) and it wakes her up at night.
other signs and symptoms
Stressful job/life; she gets angry a lot lately; orthostatic hypotension along with momentary blurry vision; abdominal fullness/bloating after eating certain food; frequent urination (overactive bladder)
No watery eyes, no sinus issues
Treatment
LV 1 + SP 1+ after 15min numbness in her right hand was lowered by 50% according to the patient.

Trigeminal Neuralgia for a few years
50 yr old female with BMI 28 According to her medical doctor she suffers from trigeminal neuralgia. Her pain is located right side of her face in/around the masseter muscle. Pain is worse when she chews and talks. Her dentist states it is not due to her gum or teeth. Pain is extremely sharp: 10/10.
Other signs and symptoms
Occasional slow digestion with abdominal bloating; occasional watery eyes (when exposed to wind); sinusitis
Treatment
Sp 3 - Kd 3 -
Lu 8 +
so far she has come in for 6 visits and her pain level is 0 to 1. Now she can eat solid food (she used to drink juices and other drinks only due to pain)

knee arthritis for a few months
A 40 years old woman came to my office She was using a crutch due to her knee pain. According to her medical doctor her knee pain is due to arthritis. She had some knee pain in the pass but this time the pain was so severe she had to go to a hospital.
she is a bit heavy and under extreme stress for the last few months. Pain is so sever that she can't bend her knee and she is unable to walk without a crutch.
other signs and symptoms
abdominal bloating after meals, palpitation due to stress, waking up a few times at night and frequent urination (waking up once to use the restroom)

after this treatment patient could walk with her crutch (though there was some pain left in her knee)

Insomnia difficult to fall asleep and sharp pain near left ankle area for 1 week
50 years old male patient came to my office due to severe pain near left ankle for 1 week. His MD could not give him any diagnosis x ray came out negative. Pain is very sharp to the bone and it stars from the distal tip of Tibia (ankle joint area) and shoots upward approx. 5 inches. He is very healthy otherwise He never had this pain.
Other signs and symptoms
Insomnia for a month or so, slightly overweight, mouth odor on occasions, occipital headache palpitation and stuffy feeling in chest upon stress and anxiety. Recently he broke up with his girlfriend and he is going through emotionally tough times. also for the last few weeks he gets up 1-2x to urinate at night.
Treatment
Sp 3- Ht 7- Kd 10 + the shooting pain went away. and the pain upon pressure subsided around 50-60% I explained his pain is due to his emotional stress he acknowledged. He called a couple of days later that it disappeared.

Fronzen shoulder for 3 months
50 years old male patient tells me he suffered from a frozen shoulder (right) for the last 3 months. His medical doctor's diagnosis is adhesive capsulitis. He can't raise his right shoulder.

red complexion especially around zygomatic bone area that is about an inch below the eyes. Type II Diabetic Palpitation upon stress slightly overweight abdominal distention frequent urination He gets up twice at night to urinate. daytime he goes every 3 hours or so. (He also has a habit of mumbling and talking to himself)
Treatment
Sp3- Ht 7 - Kd10+
Added ShinGuan ... no further improvement. I'd like to try SI 1 upon next visit.
after the treatment pain subsided about 50% according to the patient. ROM improved around 20 degrees. then he tells me he has been under a lot of stress because he was laid off a few months ago.

1 week later he tells me pain decreased about 50% and ROM improved about 50% as well. however he still feels pain in right shoulder (worse is along SI channel) and he can't fall asleep due to it.
Tx: SI 1 left side. --> no effect perhaps because there is no clicking sound associated with his shoulder pain.
ShinGuan ROM improved a lot and pain decrease about 20%.
SI 5 - Pain disappeared.
Third Treatment (He comes weekly)
