Occipital Headache and neck pain for a few days

30 yr old female patient came to my office. first thing she said was " I am so stressed! and I have a terrible headache"

when patients tell me such complaints I usually think of HT LV SI GB channels t o be continued

pain in foot

patient in her early 50s came due to chronic pain in her foot. it is located in the sole of her left foot btwn 2nd and 3rd toes.

overall she showed signs of SI deficiency however tonifying SI did not help pain in her foot.

tx: wu hu #5 ---> did not work at all then tried wuhu number 4.

pain disappeared immediately. the distance btwn these two points is about 2 mm or 0.2 cm i e one tenth of an inch. there are two different theories regarding location of wuhu points. the one i used (#4) is 1/10 inch proximal to wuhu #3.

damp yin problems

patient came due to left shoulder problem(tendonitis) for a few months. si 6 thru sj 5 worked for her shoulder pain very well. after 3 treatments patient states she feels almost no pain in her shoulder. then she said she was interested in fertility treatments.

based on exams she shows damp yin signs lets find out which type

s/s: tend to be hypoglycemic history of kidney stone/nausea, stomach acid, coldness along back and stomach cold hands and feet vertigo borborygmus, itchy eyes/skin, white (egg white) vaginal discharge, palpitations which is not really related to anxiety phlegm in lung but it does not come up and coughing at times when it rains --> joint pain period is heavy with cramps and clots.

according to books I can choose st 36 + SI5 + gb 41 st 43 - for yoo eum
lots of her symptoms indicates she might have damp yin as well then tx: lu 5- kd 10 - (or lu 9 and sp 3 -) lu 10 ht 8 +

would it be possible for a patient to have yoo yin and damp yin at the same time or it is just damp yin case. I will be able to tell after treating her a few times.

tx sp 3 and lu 9 - lu 10 + patient could not take any more needles.

hair stylist pain in hands and fingers

40 yr old female hair stylist came in due to pain in her right hand for a couple of days. she was concerned if it was due to something serious such as CTS. upon exam, she had pain in her thenar muscles.

no other s/s.

tx: wu hu #1 (left)

no pain after tx.

most hair stylists have pain in hand/finger joins lots of smartphone users have pain in the thenar muscles. all can be treated by wu hu points.

I saw her recently and asked how she was her thumb. she said there was no pain. she also added it was due to using blackberry phone too much.
