75 year old female patient came in complaining about her eyes. For the last 6 years, her eyes have been extremely dry and painful. She can't read any more than 2 pages of books without feeling pain in her eyes. Eye drops don't work for her.
her signs and symptoms
slightly blurry eyes, feeling dizzy when standing up fast, no sleep disorder, frequent urination, she gets up once at night to urinate.
arthritis in both hands, stiffness in hands and fingers. (she saw orthopedic MD for this)
BMI 22
her left arm and hand is cold to touch. right hand is warm.
digestion is fine. bowel movement is fine.
Treatment
acupuncture
KD 10- left side
LV 1 + left side
pain dimished in her eyes and also in her hands. needles were retained for 15 min
after treatment she says she feels like she can read two books.
